From Rap Rock to Funk Rock, 'NO LABELS: PART 02' Filled with 6 Colors

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) Yeonjun has revealed the outline of his new album. HYBE Labels released a preview video for the 2nd mini album 'NO LABELS: PART 02' through its official YouTube channel at midnight on July 4.

This album contains a total of 6 highlight tracks, including the title track 'Ice Cream', 'Vanilla', 'Even if it's a bit clumsy, again (Baby Wassup?)', 'No More Disco', 'Fxxking Star', and 'Long Way Long Ride'. Yeonjun traverses various genres, including rap rock, funk rock, R&B, pop, and alternative hip hop.

The first track, 'Vanilla', blends a smooth double bass sound with powerful vocals and raw choruses. As the song featured at the end of the previous 'NO LABELS: PART 01' music video, it forms a narrative connection with this new release. The following track, 'No More Disco', is a danceable pop song with autotune vocals, while 'Even if it's a bit clumsy, again (Baby Wassup?)' is a sophisticated 2000s-style R&B track.

The genre variations of the tracks are also distinct. 'Fxxking Star' is an alternative hip hop track that combines grand choruses with stimulating bass and guitar playing. 'Long Way Long Ride' features dreamy guitar melodies based on a lo-fi sound. The title track 'Ice Cream' is a funk rock song based on vintage drums, bass, and guitar riffs, with a Spanish-style sound variation in the latter half.

Music Captured Through Self-Written Lyrics, Operating a DIY Site for Fans

Yeonjun demonstrated his capabilities as an artist by directly participating in the production of this album. He is credited as a lyricist for two of the tracks, 'Even if it's a bit clumsy, again (Baby Wassup?)' and 'Long Way Long Ride'. Through lyrics that reflect his own color, he infused his unique sensibility into the music.

Promotions for communicating with fans will also take place. Yeonjun is providing a unique experience to global fans by opening a DIY microsite for the new songs. On the site, fans can choose one of six ice creams corresponding to the six tracks on the album, and then personally add various beats like ice cream toppings to combine sounds. This promotion, where the sound becomes richer as more toppings are added, will run until 1:00 PM on July 10. The official release date for the 2nd mini album 'NO LABELS: PART 02' is July 10.
