The cast members of KBS 2TV's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' displayed a stark wealth gap based on the coins they earned through games. In the second episode of 'Overseas Vacation in the Next Neighborhood' aired on August 9, the members had to use their accumulated coins to access all accommodations and food. Everything from turning on the air conditioning to using the rooms required coins.

Between the Coin Rich and the Poor: Ice Cream Divides Joy and Sorrow

The members' financial situations were split according to the results of the previous game. 'Jun-Mun-Cheol Team,' consisting of DinDin, Lee Joon, and Moon Se-yun, secured an ample amount of coins thanks to their victory. DinDin immediately spent 10 coins to stay in a second-floor suite while enjoying ice cream. Lee Joon also spent 3 coins to eat ice cream. When Kim Jong-min expressed concern about stomachaches, Lee Joon ordered another ice cream, saying he wouldn't mind even if he got a stomachache. Moon Se-yun also joined in, opening the refrigerator to eat ice cream.

On the other hand, 'Ko-Yong-Taek Team'—comprising Kim Jong-min, Lee Yong-jin, and Lee Ki-taek, who lost the previous game—had to be frugal with their coins. While they were saving coins to buy snacks, Lee Joon demonstrated the wealth gap by paying for another ice cream. Lee Yong-jin and Kim Jong-min eventually succumbed to temptation and bought ice cream. New member Lee Ki-taek hesitated in front of the refrigerator for a long time, worrying about what the next mission might be.

Moon Se-yun told Lee Ki-taek, who was trying to save coins, "Are you going to become rich by saving money on a variety show? Just eat it." Following this advice, Lee Ki-taek eventually paid for ice cream after much deliberation. He later followed Moon Se-yun's suggestion by purchasing a drink.

13-Menu Auction and Lee Yong-jin's Bluffing

The coin war among the members continued during dinner time. A luxury dinner auction featuring 13 different menus was held. As high-end restaurant-quality dishes appeared, the members began pouring their saved coins into the auction from the very beginning to win the food. Lee Yong-jin and DinDin, known as the 'intellectual players,' took control of the game with skillful bluffing. To keep an eye on DinDin, Lee Yong-jin even made a false report to the production team, saying, "DinDin is cheating."

The Reunited 'Ko-Yong-Taek Team's Sleeping Arrangement Gamble

Kim Jong-min, Lee Yong-jin, and Lee Ki-taek, who had suffered a complete defeat against Jun-Mun-Cheol Team last week, joined hands again with the goal of sleeping indoors. Reunited as 'Ko-Yong-Taek Team,' they entered a gamble to determine their sleeping arrangements. The members of Jun-Mun-Cheol Team subtly encouraged their reunion.
